After the disaster that ends book 1 in this series Cleo finds herself with a fresh new identity and fleeing to Paris where she lives an almost fairy tale life until her dark secrets haunt her once again. This is the second book in the Baby Girl series by Elle Klass and just as difficult to put down as book 1!

“Baby Girl Book 2: Moonlighting in Paris” by Elle Klass follows Cleo to Paris, France where she changes her name to Justine Holmes after Einstein died saving her life. She left America and the death of her true love, Einstein, to start over in Europe. She soon met Didier, a rich hotel owner, who fell in love with her. Her life of trashcan picking and stealing was a thing of the past. Before long, she learned that she may have been the target of the driver who killed Einstein. Will she find out why and whether the woman who took care of her was really her mother? Although the narration spent more time telling than showing the action, the story held my interest to the end. I am curious what happens to her in the next book in the series.
