The start of school is a critical time. What happens in the first month has a huge impact on the ones that follow. The Back-to-School Book shows teachers how to plan instruction, establish routines, build community, and more. It provides a blueprint for helping students develop academic and social skills. Drawing from many 3-to-6-grade classrooms, the authors offer activities, anecdotes, and resources for setting the right tone, right from the start.
