The recipes in this book are easy to make and easy to dehydrate. (Yes, you need a dehydrator to use them, but if you're thinking about taking them on a backpacking trip, that shouldn't be much of a surprise.) The ingredients are pretty easy to find, the recipes taste FANTASTIC, and unlike lots of other backpacking cookbooks, they aren't loaded with salt or other preservatives. Great way to eat healthy on trail. I 100% recommend this book!
