I was recommended this novel by a very good friend. Once I started reading, I just couldn't put the book down! So many interesting characters and crazy situations, as a reader, you get hooked. Having grown up in a similiar suburban area, you can imagine how people's lives intertwine and share connections, both good and bad! I'm looking forward to Matt Hader's next book. This story reminds me of the movie "Fargo". You just never really know who's living around you!

Many characters that build up to an exceptional end. The interaction between all of them was carefully defined and made for a great read. It makes you give pause to what a "bad rep" can really mean. Have fun reading this book!!

Matt Hader has mastered dark humor and suspense. He really made me feel like I lived right there in Balmoral and his twists and turns gripped me until the end. It’s rare when I can’t put a book down, but I was hooked after the first chapter! I loved this book and can’t wait for Hader’s next one!

I picked up the book on Saturday morning and was done by lunch. I couldn't put it down!! It was an interesting ride through the suburbs of Chicago. The author gave me just enough of each character to make me want more. I'm looking forward to more good reads from Mr Hader.

An incredibly interesting and savvy story from the very beginning to the very end. Matt must have had a great time writing such a cool book.
