Most of the recipes are unreadable on the Nook. I would like my money back.
Good variety of recipes. BAD on the Nook Reader where some measurements show up a question mark.
Yummy yummy in my tummy
After a quick look at several recipes, this seems a respectable collection. Basic recipes for some tasty treats. Works well on the Nook Color.
Measurements render well on the Android app, which means they probably render well on the Nook color line. The book does not render properly on the Nook Simple Touch. Content: recipes read well, and there are a large selection of cookies to try.
The measurements and numbers all displayed with no problem on my nook color. Nice color pics, good tips, nice selection of classics.
The recipes look fine to me. The measurements are working on my Nook Tablet. Nice color pics, and again, the recipes are readable. For 1.99 as a daily find, this book turned out okay for me. 211 pages.
This is a great cookie book. It is is easily readable om my Nook Color and the pictures of each cookie are gorgeous. I wish they had put this out as a daily deal earlier so I could try some out to give as gifts. Absolutely and totally worth $2 and more. So, thank you B&N and Merry Christmas!
The reviews sound really confussing to me.I'm going to play it safe and SCRATCH on this one.
The sample was ok
I love this easy to read cookie bonanza. Really enjoy the history notes.
It tell's what you need to make the cookey's
This is a good selection of recipes from common to unusual and it lets you know how long they can be stored for, if they ship well, and other misc. info. I did have a problem with some of the text looking like it was being overlaid on another line of text, making it unreadable on my Nook Tablet. The problem was easily resolved by switching from portrait view to landscape (sideways). The text stayed normal looking even after switching back to portrait, so I am satisfied with the solution.
I put 2 ** because I took a sample for myself too. Only measurments, & not a single recipie. But it's something to keep @least. I will not archive it!
I'm only getting the sample of the book. So, there is nothing useful. Even a call to customer service didn't help.
This sample just contains introductory material--very disappointed.
I agree, these are just throwaway books, all while Amazon's marketshares continue to grow.........prlr
Whats with these idiotic choices? Give us something interesting. Minus stars.
