About the Author
Upon graduation, Kay returned to Texas and enrolled in the Masters program for Science and Nutrition at Incarnate Word University in San Antonio. While there, she worked with many doctors to obtain the practical, as well as the educational knowledge, to make an impact in the industry. She completed her Masters program at the University of Bridgeport.
In 1998, Kay received her Certified Clinical Nutritionist credentials. This certification is regulated with sufficiently high standards of academic eligibility, post-graduate studies in clinical nutrition courses, and continuing education and examinations. Over the next six years, Kay worked for three nutritional supplement companies and a delayed allergy testing company. She still remains a consultant for these companies and continues to educate many health practitioners in the Texas region.
Kay now has a nutrition practice of her own. She receives countless referrals from medical doctors in San Antonio and her attentive nature, professionalism, and customer service has been the hallmark for her repeat business and flourishing practice. Kay is active in the San Antonio community and appears regularly on the international televised program called the Doctor To Doctor Show, as well as local radio programs.
