Overview

The Ballad of the White Horse (Barnes & Noble Digital Library) by G. K. Chesterton

Alfred the Great was the seventh-century Saxon King of Wessex who—with the aid of God and the Virgin Mary—defended his land against the Vikings. Incorporating fact and legend, Chesterton’s epic 1911 poem narrates Alfred’s exploits on the battlefield. It may have provided inspiration for J. R. R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings.

This copy is very jumbled and hard to read....good book, but get a different version.

Multiple selections of same book title indicate this is a poorly transferred print to digital copy. All cannot have the same problem. Please check this problem. If I do it I will not get refunded for defective copies. It is great to have access to classics, but digital copies should work as easily as a real book.
