About the Author
Dan McCann was a television news producer for ten years before becoming a writer. Once, when his son's red balloon got away from him in the wind and shot skyward, Dan told him it was off to the moon. That's when the thought of a "rescue mission" occurred to him. Dan lives with his wife and three children in Omaha, Nebraska.
Nathan Hale is the author and illustrator of two books, The Devil You Know and Yellowbelly and Plum Go to School. Both books feature loads of monsters, but don't worry, Balloon on the Moon is completely monster-free. Nathan has never actually been to outer space, but he has lost a large number of balloons. This book is absolutely outstanding! a trip to the moon is what everyone needs!travel up up up until you reach the moon and find all kinds of lost toys that have been swallowed up by the sky. if only Jake could rescue all our lost toys!
