Freelance investigator Isaac Camacho has a weakness for bitchy blondes, and no one fits the bill quite like former beauty queen and gold digger Tamara Post. She's sexy, feisty and on the run from a cult leader. Complicated women? Oh he loves them almost as much as he loves watching Tamara act like a total ice queen when he knows she burns white hot.

Calculating opportunist Tamara Post never cared what anyone thought about her--except for her sister. But when her sister dies, it's up to Tamara to hide her teenage niece so the girl's dictatorial father can't marry her off to one of his disciples. The last thing Tamara has time for is Isaac--a man who flirts as well as he fills out a pair of worn jeans and whose stubborn determination to help makes it hard to act as if she's really as cold as she appear.

When the bad guys find her, there's only one person Tamara can depend on to help keep her alive until her niece is safe. But once the life and death chase is on, it's not just their lives Tamara and Isaac are risking...but their hearts.

4.5 Stars What a great story!!! Tamara Post’s first meeting with Bianca and the B-Squad didn’t go down so well, now things are changing but is Tamara ready to let go of her secrets or will it cost her the very reason for having them. Isaac Camacho is a man who get the job done but when he meets Tamara that will become a little more complicated. Can Isaac convince Tamara to let him in and if she does will he be able to do what is necessary to protect her, even if it may cost him having Tamara in the end!!

Loved this book! Avery Flynn is a new author to me & she's a favorite now for sure. Bang was a great read- it is the second book in the B-Squad series. I read this one first & it can be read as a stand alone but there is a lot of back story missing since I hadn't read the first book in the series so I'd recommend reading them in order. Tamara is a tough cookie & its fun watching her walls fall, especially when she starts to trust Isaac Camacho. The story was really well written & kept me turning pages way late into the night. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Fun and steamy romantic suspense with lots of banter! Bang by Avery Flynn is the second book in her B-Squad series and an intriguing read. As with Bulletproof, the prequel, and Brazen, Bang is hot and steamy with plenty of sizzle and sass. Fans of the series will enjoy catching up with the B-Squad gang with their family-like dynamics. The bantering between the characters is a hoot - wicked, yummy and rife with witty snark. This is the story of two complete opposites - opportunist Tamara Post and private investigator Isaac Camacho. The story picks up where Brazen left off with Tamara on the run from her brother-in-law's henchmen. It’s a rough road, but Tamara finally comes to realize that she cannot keep Essie, her niece, out of her twisted dad's clutches without help. And the B-Squad is there for her with stalwart Isaac leading the fray. Now, it’s a race for Tamara and Isaac to get to her niece before her father grabs her. Tamara was first introduced in Brazen. It was not a favorable entrance. She’s Taz’s ex-wife and a thorn in his side. She almost ruined his relationship Bianca. She is a combo of a hot body and a cold attitude. The team has forgiven her for her previous actions, but she’s still a rude, conniving shrew. Avery pulls off an admirable and somewhat successful recharacterization of Tamara by unmasking her past and explaining why and how she became such a nasty person. As the story progresses, readers are treated to a primer on behind the scenes at beauty pageants and baton twirling. Isaac is a freelancer with the B-Squad. He doesn’t always play well with others and prefers to work as a lone wolf. Isaac is quite likeable and he’s taken with Tamara. He loves her ice queen demeanor and that she’s trouble personified with a fanatic cult leader hot on her trail. Adding her to his long list of problems is not the smartest thing he’s ever done. Regardless, he’s got it bad for her and is determined to protect her no matter how many times she insults him, pushes him away and insists that their night together was a one-time meaningless thing. (Stupid, stupid woman!!!!) Even though this is the second book in Avery’s B-Squad series, it can easily be enjoyed as a stand-alone, if that is your preference as it has a self-contained plot and romance. Actually, if you haven’t read Brazen, you will come in to this story without a preconceived notion regarding Tamara – which would not be a bad thing. I always enjoy Avery’s books. They’re fresh, emotional and entertaining. Avery has described the B-Squad as Charlie’s Angels meets the A-Team meets Mr. & Mrs. Smith. The books each feature feisty heroines and alpha guys. They are fun and steamy romantic suspense with lots of banter. While I, personally, never did really connect with Tamara – that doesn’t mean that another reader wouldn’t. I still thoroughly enjoyed reading this installment and I look forward to reading Blade which will be released this coming Spring! My full review is posted at Reading Between The Wines Book Club. ***I received this ARC as a gift from Barclay Publicity through NetGalley for an honest review.*** I just love, love, loved this book! I have not read this author before, but when I was reading about it, it sounded like a book for me. I just couldn’t put it down; I locked myself in the bathroom so my family would not interrupt my “me time”. Tamara is such an ice princess, but what better way to melt the ice then to add a hot ex-Marine Texas cowboy to the mix. Oh baby! I loved Isaac and Tamara and the members of the B-Squad; they all have such great chemistry. The writing style and characters kept me hungry for more! I look forward to reading more from this author.

The B-Squad Series is a must-read, addictive series It's a good sign when I just want to know "WHAT happens next??". I'll admit, I wanted to dislike Tamara. She did try to extort money from Taz and almost broke up his relationship with Bianca. But in true Avery Flynn style, she convinced me to like Tamara! Desperate times, desperate measures sort of thing - so I understood why she made some poor decisions. And Isaac Camacho? Yum. Just Yum. Strong alpha, sexy and Tamara's perfect match! Love how well they work together - in all areas! Great story.

Isaac Camacho has been working freelance with the B Squad for quite awhile now, always on the outskirts of the action. Tamara Post was the character you loved to hate in the first book. I have to admit I was somewhat doubtful on how she could possibly be a redeemable heroine after her antics in book one. The author did a fantastic job of giving us all the behind the scenes ins and outs as to why she was the way she was. I was completely rooting for her by the middle of the book. Isaac was fantastic as a hero. He was able to see beyond the Tamara that the rest of the world saw. And really, who doesn't want that kind of man in their life! I truly enjoyed the book and cannot wait to see where the rest of this series goes.

Avery Flynn knows how to write action packed, scorching hot books. In Bang, the second book in the B-Squad series, she brings together two unlikely people who are explosive and a perfect match for each other. Since she was a child, Tamara Post’s mother has drilled into her that looks and money are everything. Forced into competing in beauty pageants and being with sugar daddies, Tamara has created and maintained an ice queen persona to keep her feelings at bay. Now, with the death of her sister, Tamara is thrust into survival and protection mode when her niece's father tries to sell her off to the highest bidder. There isn’t anything she wouldn’t do to make sure her niece is safe, even if it means blackmailing her ex-husband. Isaac Camacho believes himself to be a lone wolf. He’s running from and haunted by his past. This former Marine always tries to do what’s right. When Tamara tries to blackmail her former husband, Isaac is tasked with looking into her life. When he discovers her brother-in-law is the leader of a cult and that there’s an arrest warrant out on Tamara for kidnapping, the good guy in him has to help her out. Tamara never expected to find an ally in Isaac, in helping to protect and rescue her niece. Neither expected to fall in love with each other or find a home with B-Squad, the company owned by Tamara’s ex-husband and his fiancée. I'm a huge fan of Melissa Cutler's ICE Black Ops series and the B-Squad series reminds me of that series. Bang is really good. Avery did a wonderful job of putting in details that allow the reader to visualize what's happening. I just wanted more shoot ’em up, bang up action that I know Avery is capable of giving. While the members of B-Squad make appearances, I wanted more time with them. The characters of Tamara and Isaac surprised me with their depth, heart, passion and true personalities. They made it extremely easy to lose myself to the book and their story. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. **Received a copy from the author in exchange for an honest unbiased opinion.**

I'm telling you right now if you haven't started this series you're missing out. Another winner by Avery. I could not put this one down. We met Tamara in Brazen and boy I was not a fan of her, but this book has changed my mind. This book shows you the true Tamara. Then you add in yummy Isaac into the mix what a combination. This book has what expect when reading a book by Avery; passion, humor, action, suspense, and intrigue. This book has left me wanting more from this series!

I wasn’t too sure what to expect going into this one since I wasn’t too keen on the heroine from her appearance in the last book, but in the end, this one really worked for me. Throw in that snark and sass that you can always depend on in an Avery Flynn book, and this was an action-filled, fast-paced, fun read with some great characters. Tamara has some real trust issues, Isaac is plagued by his past and considers himself a lone wolf, together these two should have all sorts of problems…but somehow Avery Flynn manages to create two characters who, as unlikely as it is, fit together perfectly. Not that they didn’t have their share of issues along the way, but from the beginning it was easy to see how Tamara and Isaac were just what the other needed. And of course when you throw the rest of the B-Squad in to the mix you know you are going to get all sorts of colorful characters to help the story along. I loved getting to know Marko and Elisa better – I can just tell these two are going to be all sorts of trouble together. And seeing the B-Squad pull together to help one of their own – makes me want to be one of the group. This one can be read as a standalone, but getting to see how these characters have evolved was a treat, so I would recommend starting from the beginning. If you like your romantic suspense fast-paced and action packed, filled with snark, sass, and sexy times, then this one needs to be on your TBR! I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.

Bang by Avery Flynn....This book starts with a bang and keeps going until the last word. Avery knows how to hold our attention with action packed, suspense, super sexy scenes and extremely hot characters in her stories. Isaac and Tamara are no different and boy do they have chemistry. Avery Flynn is one of my favorite authors, I know I will get lost in her books. I highly recommend this book or any book by Avery. I was given a complimentary book for an honest review.

I wasn't exactly Team Tamara when I picked up this book, but Avery knows how to write a character into your list of "want them as friends". The story is fast paced, sexy and funny. The characters are well writen and you want to read more about them. What I most liked about this book is the mix of action, fun and hot and sexy scenes. The next B-Squad book is already on my to read list.

Ok. So I didn't care for Tamara in Brazen. However, I think Flynn did a good job of explaining her reasoning no for her actions and redeeming her character in Bang. She grew on me so much that I actually enjoyed her story a little bit more than Taz and Bianca's story. Oh. And Isaac was a pretty great Hero too. I do wish we could have had a little more on his backstory. Like his interactions with his sisters and mom. Since they had such an impact on his life, I would have enjoyed a little more interaction with them. Especially after that epilogue. Perhaps a wedding or baby novella somewhere in the future??? Hmmm???? A quick, enjoyable weekend read. Can be read as a standalone, but you won't get the full Tamara or B-Squad experience without starting at the beginning. I think Flynn is getting better with this series and I look forward to more B-Squad stories.

✦Review: BANG: B-Squad Book Two by Avery Flynn Publication Date: September 12, 2016 Genre: Romantic Suspense/ Contemporary Romance Reviewed by: Reading in Pajamas/ Donna Rated: 4.5 Stars REVIEW: This was a fun, fast paced story that kept me eagerly reading to see what happens next. Of course, Isaac is a super-hottie with charm to spare. I like how Ms. Flynn kept that southern charm from becoming too overblown. Tamara is a determined woman who has learned to show others just what she wants them to see. I did have a hard time liking her, but I cared too much for her goal to let my indifference get in the way. Which is a good thing because it was worth the read. Overall it was a sexy romance with enough action to keep you glued to the pages. I am a fan of the B-Squad and will wait impatiently for the next installment. *Review copy provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.

Book two of the B-Squad gives us a better understanding of Tamara, former beauty queen, ex-wife of Taz, and now working for Taz’s girlfriend’s security company. How is that for starters!! Other male hero is , Isaac Camacho, ex-Marine , freelancing in the same company. He is a man of many layers. Though an apparent loner, one that is a true friend , especially to his military buddies and Taz. Tamara is protecting her sister’s daughter, whose father is the leader of a cult. A dangerous endeavor, and one that has Isaac being her protector. Needless to say, it’s full of action, sizzling chemistry between Isaac and Tamara. Both characters are well developed and a cast of secondary characters whom you will want to get to know better. I received this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. The comments are solely mine.
