Barenaked Jane by Deanna Lee

Jane Tilwell has a take-charge approach to life. That means dealing head-on with Mathias Montgomery, security expert and future brother-in-law to her boss at the art gallery. Surprising him during the middle of a planned "break-in," she can't deny the excitement she feels as he pins her to the floor. He's all alpha-male: arrogant, sexy, and rock-hard solid—in oh so many ways. And when he turns up at her apartment and invites himself in for a weekend of non-stop sex, Jane knows she's found her match. The heat of his body arouses her and his kisses leave her aching for more. Who is this incredibly sensual man? Why does he know her body so intimately? How can he bring her such seductive pleasure? To answer each and every question, Jane lays herself bare—ready, naked, and willing. . .

"Lee hits the mark again and again. . .in a class by itself." —Romantic Times (4 1/2 stars G, Top Pick) on Undressing Mercy

WARNING! This is a REALLY HOT book (Sexually Explicit).

I enjoyed the frank honesty of this book... not really a fan of romance often due to cliche endings and over-the-top characters... I found Lee's characters refreshing in their honesty and sexuality. One of the best books I've read in a long time. Bravo.

Jane Tilwell seems so calm at all times however, she hides behind her cool exterior the fact that security specialist Mathias Montgomery makes her heart beat leap off the charts. She knows it will not be easy, but she needs to avoid the hunk, future brother-in-law to her boss at the art gallery she works.------------------ Caught unaware that a break-in exercise is occurring, Mathias pins Jane to the floor. He does not want to get up nor does she want him too. However, reluctantly Mathias being the consummate professional returns to the security task at hand, but not before promising her that this is just the beginning. He arrives at her place begging her for a weekend of sex like neither she has ever had before.------------------ BARENAKED JANE is a fascinating erotic romance starring two strong obstinate protagonists (some might insist antagonists) who demand to be on top at all times. The story line is an entertaining battle of the sexes filled with heat that scorches the pages and your fingers. Reader sill enjoy the torrid relationship war to determine just who is in charge with battle scenes in the boudoir, on the floor, the table, and just about any place imaginable as Jane and Mathias share one equatorial weekend leading to much more.------------------- Harriet Klausner

I'm finding it difficult to read this book. The characters are just uneventful and the story line is a bit dull.

This book was a waste of money. The character of Jane was way over the top and the storyline never caught my interest. The sex scenes were boring and repetitive.

This book startled me with an awkward beginning. It bored me with its cheesy sexuality. It was horribly repetative. Worst of all, it had the most terrible ending. I had been looking forward to finishing to book...only to be disapointed by even that. Save your money. If you wanna read something sexy and entertaining...read 'smart and sexy' by jill shlavis. THAT book I LOVED. (and I ended up bedding my husband at least 10 times the week I read it. lol)

I bought two of the books in this series for full price and I did not care for either one of them. The character development was subpar; the plot (if you can call it that) was really boring and the ending of the book was unsatisfying. I'm not sure if the author was going for a more "feminist" style of writing or just trying to create something unique but I'm sorry to say she failed on both counts. Do not waste your money on this author. I have wasted a lot of money on a lot of really poorly written books to read on my iPad. At least in the bookstore you can sample them. You can read about 200 words on the b&n site (if you're lucky and the author provides sample) and that's not enough. In any case, I do not recommend this book or this author or any book in this series. They are not romantic, sexy, compelling or even interesting.

This is an ok story, it sounded better in the preview than it actually is. It's part of a series (I'm pretty sure it is,but won't be reading anything else by this author to find out for sure.) but you can read it as a stand alone. The story is told from Jane's POV only so you don't really get Mathias side of things which really cuts down on the romance aspect of the book. (It does for me anyways) The writing itself is hard to follow. It shifts abruptly from scene to scene (it gets annoying after it keeps happening) I won't be reading anything else from this author. This book turned me off.
