I had always heard of the book Sense and Sensibility growing up, but never knew what it was actually about until I was required to read it in my high school English class. At first, I absolutely hated it because it was at times difficult to follow the language used in British novels from this era, however I eventually understood how to interpret its content and ultimately I fell in love with the characters and the story. It has been over three years since I first read it and I have read it over five times since. It is beautifully written and a true masterpiece. Jane Austen is irrevocably a genius and this book really does stand the test of time. A must read!!!
