By far the most accessible thesaurus I've ever used. Indispensible for people doing any form of creative writing. A Gem. This is not just a thesaurus; it's an adventure, a linguistic journey, inspiring you on the way.

Students and writers will appreciate the organization of this book. It is very helpful for writing essays, research papers, and any student required writing assignments. The innovative organization provides multiple suggestions for concepts rather than just synonyms for words. An excellent investment for any student or writer.

This is my big Bible of thesauruses (thesauri?) on my shelf. It literally launched my magazine writing career as the "GET" guy, with over 100 published articles written with titles that use the word "get" in them in some way (guess where I found all those phrases?). I even wrote an article about that for WRITER'S DIGEST!!!

This is by far the finest, most complete Thesaurus in print. An absolute essential for any writer. Other Thesauruses have much less content than Bartlett's. I keep one in my study where I write freehand, and another at my computer for last-minute editing. Don't waste your money on any other Thesaurus!

Bartlett's Roget's Thesaurus is very easy to use, it is unique because there is an index in the back to reference each word. The individual description of the word is indepth with more choices than other thesaurus'. This is a great book for writers who want to use different discriptive words making for better reading.
