Meet the Author

Dr. David Coffland teaches instructional technology, mathematics methods, measurement, and statistics at Idaho State University, where he received his doctorate. He is currently researching the use of interactive mathematics environments and multimedia to improve student achievement.

Author of books, workbooks, and computer software programs, Dr. Jack Coffland has worked in higher education for 30 years. Dr. Coffland received more than $7 million in research and training grants from federal, state, and foundation sources for his work in education. Currently, he assists school districts with data analysis, program evaluations, and grant writing.
