in a band, playing bass for thirteen years, guitar for twenty three and the well written book helped me in thirty mins. the chapters are designed so you can jump around. well done, and thanks for helping me become an even better player!

Tabs are too small & there is no way to enlarge them. Not a good idea for a Nook book. Also no sound. The actual hard copy comes with a cd.

This is the first book I've ever returned - and wouldn't have even purchased it if I had seen it in person. The print used for music notation and TAB is smaller than the text! Unless you're wearing surgeon's magnifiers there is no way to read it on a music stand (I even had to strain with reading it as I would a regular book). Unfortunately the material in general looked interesting and was the first book I've seen that offered physical exercises for stretching your fingers, so I would have given it 5 stars if the author had told the publisher to double the number of pages (which are cheap, newsprint quality anyway) in order to present music for musicians. Still can't believe that the Dummies people didn't realize this wasn't going to work....

You are better than that.
