It Okay book but the first part of the chapter was good I didn't like what Bane did to Batman, the rest was not great and they cut parts from the original graphic novel that they should explains I guess that be too much.

I was skeptical about reading this book, only because I usually do not care for the novelization of comic books. However, this book was very well written and condensed the huge crossover into a very good story. The confrontation with Mr. Zsasz was awesome and great metaphor for the book overall. How does one fight monsters without becoming one?

it was very slow in the beginning but after that it had alot of action in all parts of the book and it is a very good read

At first, the book is a little slow, but it quickly graps you and you are fully into it until the very end. You get to see another side of the Dark Knight and diffinitely worth reading.

I never read the comic series this is taken from so I was reading from a novice point of view. I enjoyed the writing but felt that the book was leaving out gaps from the comics in some areas and being to literal in others. Some paragraphs read as if they were taken straight from the comics. If you like Batman and are not familiar with the story read it, but I have a feeling the story is better in the illustrated format of comics
