This story was sweet and short but very fast paced. We meet the character and suddenly we find oit everything about them all at once a then the story is over. Would have been better if it had been longer so we could have learned everything about the characters instead of the author having to tell us. *Booklover*

SPOILER ALERT It could have been a good story but the character's backstory's were a little strange. And Labyrinth was engaged to Owen the year previous but she's only 18. It's not very realistic at all. Also Draegan just proposes right after he finds out she's not marrying his brother?!? Weird.

This is 37 pages and all over the place. I am glad it was free. The author needs to invest in some writing classes.

Aubu1964 I started this novel on Monday April 30 2012. This novel started on page 8 and ended on page 36. Labyrinth's alarm clock blared loud and woke her in a deepest sleep and she had threw it across the room. Her cell phone the ID was someone she didn't really want to talk to that person on the other end of the phone. . It was her ex fiance she caught him with a blonde in the coat room at her grandparent's anniversary dinner. It was Owen 's younger brother named Draegan Ferris her best friend. Draegan was the geek he stuck to his books and Owen was always at parties. Draegan was an accountant at a firm. She had met Draegan at Belle France it was only 10 minutes from where she had lived. The restaurant was very romantic establishment. She had told him that Owen and her were not engaged anymore. She had told Draegan what had happened to them. He had studied in Greece and got his BS'c in advanced mechanics. He was thinking of opening a shop and teach younger kids. He was acting strange that night so they had left. So he had told her that he had something to tell her. So he told her that he loved her. The next day he told her the next day at work and he loved her and then he took a velvet box from his jacket. It was a marquise cut amethyst ring. And asked her to marry him. She had said yes. They got married. I enjoyed this novel very much. I liked this Draegan because he gave her my birthstone for a ring.
