Excellent Overview and shallow dive on the subject. Don't buy this book - because there is a newer, updated version about to be released on July 1, 2015. However, if you get it as a gift, as I did, you will get a LOT out of it, and I suspect, even more from the newer version. It's not a deep dive, but a thorough if shallow overview of all the areas a breast cancer soon-to-be-survivor must face: Facing Breast Cancer, Breast Cancer Basics, Diagnosis and Staging, Surgery, Reconstruction, Radiation, Chemotherapy, Hormone Treatment, Targeted Therapy, Complementary & Alternative Treatments, DCIS, Clinical Trials, Life After Cancer, A Guide for your Partner, Advanced Breast Cancer, and a fabulous reference section. Although I've read other books on the subject, this one still presented information in a way that was highly readable and easy to digest, and I learned things (or perhaps, recognized them via this presentation) that I had not gleaned from my other readings. If you or a loved one is facing breast cancer, I highly recommend the newest version of this book.
