About the Author
Minako Shimonagase learned about bead flowers when she visited New York and started to study them in 1989. She established a bead flower salon called Candy Garden in 2003 and teaches at various cultural schools in Japan. She is a certified instructor of the Japan Craft Association.

This is a good book on the French beaded flower technique (using seed beads strung on wire, and bent and twisted into shapes and petals) for beginners and experienced beaders alike, full of clear photos and drawn diagrams and patterns for making simple flowers, to elaborate arrangements. The photos of finished arrangements are lovely, and will inspire your creativity.
