About the Author

Kay Pfaltz earned a Ph.D. from the University of London and teaches English Literature at Mary Baldwin College. She is also a freelance writer and the bestselling author of Lauren's Story: An American Dog in Paris, the true story of her own Beagle. Kay also volunteers with the local animal shelter Almost Home. She lives in Roseland, VA, with Chance and Sasha, two Beagles she rescued from the shelter, and Flash, a miniature Dachshund.

If you have just adopted a beagle as a companion this is the book for you. It is a comprehensive review of the behavior of the beagle along with fun and interesting descriptions of the behaviors of beagles. Strongly recommend this book as instruction, or fun, reading. Kyle5
