Overview

The seventh work in the New York Times and #1 internationally bestselling series that started with the Beautiful Bastard, Beautiful Stranger, and Beautiful Player novels. Featuring all the Beautiful characters…plus one tiny new addition to the group.

In Beautiful Stranger, finance whiz Sara Dillon met the irresistibly sexy Brit, Max Stella, at a New York City club. Through the series we’ve watched them learn to balance commitment with their less than private brand of playfulness. In Beautiful Beloved, Max and Sara take it to the next step. But the question is: Will they be able to find a balance between the wild sexcapades they aren’t ready to retire, and the demands of parenthood that come along with their new Beautiful bundle of joy? Parenthood: it’s not for the weak of heart.

These two ladies know how to weave you into a story. So much so, you feel that desperate need for release or feel what ever they are feeling at that moment. They pull you in! And when you read that last sentence at the end of the book, you sit there completely dumbfounded because it's over. That is the wonder and beauty of reading these books! You will Not be able to put them down until you are done.

2.5 stars - Max Stella and Sara Dillon are back in this short novella. Their lives have changed dramatically since they first fell into each other in Beautiful Stranger. Now they’re parents trying to get into a routine while keeping the spark alive. Sara and Max are new parents to sweet little Anabel. Sara wants to go back to work but she feels guilt for wanting to go back. While Max’s feelings towards Sara are as strong as ever, a burning ember, and he wants nothing more than to be as rough and brazen with her as they were before their baby. I listened to this one and found myself a little bit bored with the story. For what it was (more time with Max and Sara), it was cute, sweet, sexy and funny. But I didn’t enjoy this one as much as I had the previous novels and novellas. I really liked how naturally Max and Sara fell into their roles as parents. I will say that I am reallllyyyyy excited for Niall’s book after meeting him in this one. Knowing a little bit of his back story, I can’t wait to dive into his book and find out who will capture his broken heart. Audiobook Comments: Holy freaking canoli!! How have I not listened to Jonathan Cole before? His portrayal of one of my favorite British boyfriends, is spot-on and super swoony! I loved his accent so much! Grace Grant also was perfect for Sara (and even as Max!). If Grace Grant narrates something, I know it’s going to be good. She’s like the female Sebastian York. Automatic buy. 2.5 stars * I received an audiobook from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

This was a very sweet story about a couple navigating the waters of new parenthood and trying to find a balance between the quick, but satisfying romp in the sheets and the all-night kinky sex session at their beloved BDSM club. Though part of a long-standing series, BEAUTIFUL BELOVED can be read as a stand-alone, but I get the feeling that the experience would have been much better had I read the previous installments in this series. The emotional aspects of this novella really pack a punch – I was so touched by Max’s expressions of his love for Sara that I cried actual tears! But never fear – the more kinky sides of Max and Sara come out to play too, which really heat up the pages. I loved everything about this novella. The deep connection and love between Max and Sara, the wild kinky sex, great secondary characters whom I’m eager to learn more about – I just wish this novella was longer so all of these great elements could be explored further! My overall favorite of the series. I could read about Max being a hot Dad all day every day.

This series continues to deliver. I love seeing how the relationships change and grow, but the characters remain true.

Absolutely adored this one. Sweet, funny, just the right amount of a peek in to Max & Sara's world. I swear this writing duo gets better with every single thing they do, and I can't wait for Beautiful Secret in April. Can it be April now?

Another great book by Christina Lauren. I laughed out loud. This book is so good. Shows how just because you have a baby you don't have to lose your kink ?. My only complaint would be that it was to short and I wanted more. Great book!

There is something special about coming back to old characters and realizing that you genuinely miss them. I have missed the Beautiful gang and it is always a treasure to get more of them. This story belongs to Sara and Max but we get to see a bunch of the crew from all of the Beautiful Books, as well as meet Niall Stella, brother of Max Stella. The story is in the traditional Christina Lauren vibe of fun, humor, sexiness and melt your heart moments. If you have read Beautiful Stranger, which you totally should before reading Beautiful Beloved, then you already know that Max and Sara were expecting a wee little baby. You also know that they have a particularly specific, how do I say this...hobby that they like to enjoy together. One that they have not had the time or energy to participate in. Beautiful Beloved is them trying to find their way back to that, a way to balance being Sara and Max and Mum and Dad.

I loved this so much! It made me so happy to read and I'm pretty sure I smiled the whole time.  I loved getting to see Max and Sara again and meet their adorable baby. My heart was bursting. This was told from dual POV’s and it made me extremely happy to catch up on everything with them. Daddy Max is the sweetest, sexiest thing ever! I loved this story of them being together after having the baby, working out their new life as a family and getting back to them. It was so relatable. The internal dialogue in relation to grown-up-alone-time and being tired was perfect. There were so many times in this I laughed out loud, it was freaking hysterical in parts. At one point I had tears in my eyes because I couldn't stop laughing. I loved that all my favorite Beautiful people were in this and it was great getting to see everyone. The men around the baby was pretty spectacular. I loved how Will was with her, so precious. I loved George in this, he just added to the fun.  As fun and entertaining as this was, it was also extremely sweet and loving. There were some really true moments that brought a nice level of emotion to everything. It was just wonderful. Along with that sweet, was the chemistry that Max and Sara have that pulls you into their relationship. This story was also pretty darn sexy! It definitely had that added Max and Sara hotness and kink factor that I love. Niall, Max’s brother, was introduced in this story and he seems like the biggest sweetheart. I am super excited for his story and to fall in love with a new Beautiful man. Up next, Beautiful Secret.  Another wonderful story from the dynamic duo of Christina Lauren. A fun and delightful read, topped off with just the right amount of sexy!  5 beautiful stars! Complimentary copy received for honest review.

Love hearing more from these two, but need more substance. Too short.

I’m going to keep this review like the book, short and sweet. Such a lovely story, it was really sweet seeing Sara and Max as parents, trying to deal with being new parents, working and keeping their sex life as interesting as before. The parts with the baby were down right adorable and the sexy parts were as swoon worthy as Beautiful Stranger, or even more taking into notice that they are now parents. We get to meet another Stella! Niall was very interesting and amazing surprise at the end when we get to read a little bit of his book. I can’t wait for what’s next in this amazing series.
