I bought this book years ago, but just started cooking from it regularly. The recipes in it are amazing and most of them are extremely simple to make. I really enjoyed the fact that there are recipes for all seasons and not just your typical cold-weather soups. If you like soup, this is definitely a book you should check out, even if you're not a vegetarian.
With mouth-watering pictures and lush descriptions, this cookbook frequently serves as the inspiration for fall dinners at my house. My only complaint is that some recipes are quite complex and some require unusual/pricey ingredients. There are some soups that are vegan, and many that have an optional vegan method for making them.
