About the Author

Jacquie resides in sunny Brisbane with her husband and two sons. Numbers and practicality are a way of life for Jacquie as she works as an accountant by day. So it's no wonder, for sanity's sake, she balances this banality with words, characters and imagination in all other possible moments. Jacquie is an author of a number of novels and writes contemporary women's fiction that is emotionally driven and possesses unique themes beyond the constraints of the physical universe. She strives to offer romance, but with complexity; spirituality, without the religion. Her novels express a purpose and offer subtle messages about life, the spirit and, of course, love.

The plot has intrigued me a lot! The synopsis drew me immediately. Imagine a being created from scratch inside your head while you are in coma ? Leah has an intense relationship and then wakes up to lose the love of her life...  Wow! The plot has intrigued me a lot! I wanted to know what the author was going to propose me as a story. A beautiful romance between Leah and Brennan with an interesting plot.  Indeed, some slight details suggest that the young woman spends a lot of time sleeping but nothing suggests the punch line from the moment the two heroes meet at the hospital. Awaiting the awakening of Leah from her coma-dream, I sometimes found lengths. I admit that I would have liked a more violent or more disturbing awakening. Maybe with more emotions to bring more drama to the story. In short, a more intense ending. Then, Jacquie Underdown offers interesting coincidences and unexplained end rather realistic and tender. The romantic in me appreciated that love is stronger than anything! Globally, a beautiful romantic history.  Lucie
