which was a big snore. I kept trying thinking it would get better but it never did. The first part of the book was free and not bad, thus enticing me to get this "complete" series package (which by the way it isn't cuz there is another author lied). Learned my lesson AGAIN......don't buy series which leave you unfulfilled and unsatisfied as to what happens next!!! I will say tho I have read some other books by this author which were great.......but cant finish this one and can't recommend.

I was really excited to start B&tB. The fact that it stars a scarred hero as the Hero really drew my attention. I love when a former military member gets a HEA. Plus, the fact that he falls in love with his maid and vise verse sounded like it was going to be a swoon-worthy story. However, this did not work for me. The story starts off with Erin entering Blake’s home to clean for the day. Instead of a normal day of cleaning, she walks in on him masturbating, and calling out her name. Instead of slinking away and maybe giving the guy some privacy, she proceeds to stand there and stare at him through his bedroom door while he takes care of business. Of course he realizes she’s there, apologizes profusely… and they decide to have sex. Boom! Bam! Pow! Whiplash! The chapter cuts out with them cuddling and then starts back up the next time she shows up to his house to clean. She’s worried how things will be, he’s worried about how things will be… however, I was left wondering how they untangled themselves in the last scene. THAT was when things would get weird and you would know how the other felt, not a couple days later when you show up to work again. Of course, they worried for nothing because all of a sudden they are in bed… again! I just, I didn’t really know what was going on. I felt so disconnected from everything. Like I was being tossed snippets of a story from the eyes of a fly on the way. I didn’t understand their connection, their romance, or the characters themselves. It felt very cut and dry… and flat to be honest. I was bored to tears because I just didn’t care about either of the characters. Now, sometimes with an erotica you aren’t given a whole bunch of information other than the sexy times, however, this story lacked that! The bedroom scenes were so clinical and stilted that there was no passion or emotion taking place. I’ve read this author’s Endgame series and really enjoyed it, but this was not for me. It had all the ingredients for a five-star read for me, but I just couldn’t even make it to the halfway point before throwing in the towel. Everything from the world building to the characters lacked substance, and I just felt extremely bored while reading this.

Just erotic enough to keep your interest on high alert. Has all the heart pulling scenes between the characters because of their hurts and dissapointments. Really enjoyed this first time read from this author

I loved having all three books in one!! The stories were heart warming, with some mystery, sadness and some great hot sex, with a twist on the popular beauty and the beast love story!! I've read several stories by Skye Warren and enjoyed every one of them!! This is definitely a great read I know you will enjoy!!

I enjoy Beauty and the Beast stories and this one was very touching. Within the story is a man who was injured in military services yet not only does he have to deal with PTSD, he also has to deal with people reacting negatively to his appearance rather than embracing him for who he is as a human being and what he went through. He also sees himself as unlovable due to his scars. The couple also has several other obstacles and issues to address throughout the story. Sex scenes do take up a large percentage of ths story so they get repetitive at points. The book also contains some typos/grammar errors. I found myself rereading one sentence due to some his/her usage mix-up. Overall, I enjoyed the story and will probably read the Epilogue when it comes out.

Could only get to page 38. Mostly this was just sexing. Didn' t do much to develop the story line, which could have been good. May try to pick up again.
