You thought you knew Beauty--
But think again.
Evangeline prizes knowledge above anything else, even people. Mistreated by her mother, who thought beauty was the only thing important in the world, Evangeline has come to scorn her fellow humans; burdened by sorrow, she cannot comprehend what true beauty is.
But with unexpected guidance, Evangeline's father whisks her away from their home to a new town, one surrounded by the forest, and by mystery. There, Evangeline confronts hideous ugliness...and in it discovers how to behold true beauty.
The final Beastly Tale, this is the story of Beauty -- Evangeline -- as you've never heard it before. For who is Beauty when she cannot see what is beautiful?
