About the Author

I am originally from Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. I resided in my hometown until graduating in 1994 when I joined the United States Army as an Infantryman. During my Army career I had 2 tours in the Balkans and another 2 more recently in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. I wrote my 1st book Self Convictions while deployed to Baghdad. I ended my military career after 12 years of service as a Correctional Specialist working in the United States Disciplinary Barracks in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas in December of 2009.

I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree in English Writing at Washburn University. I currently live in Topeka, Kansas.

The Self Series: Self Convictions, Self Consciousness, Self Conclusions, & Self Consequences, (in that order) are not self-help books by the way. They are psychological suspense thrillers with a mental twist.

I, along with Michael Rohr, wrote a compilation of tragic short stories and poetry titled Dark Solo. The stories may strike closer to home than you'd expect.

And the Hand of God, is a story about the end of days as per the book of Revelations. With all of the natural disasters happening in our world, I decided to write this book. The story is about Jared, a man with a dark past, and Lily, a woman with a history herself, as they fight to survive against Mother Nature's wrath.
