I've always been good at wearing masks. Not letting anyone see the real me. I'm content being the happy-go-lucky best friend. The strong willed boss. The independent woman who doesn't need a man.

But the truth is I'm just as broken as the rest of you. I'm terrified that all it will take is one person to make all my carefully constructed walls crumble into fine dust. So I guard my heart with everything I have. Determined to never let anyone get close enough to hurt me again.

All is perfect until HE walks into my life. No... he doesn't just walk. He struts his good-looking, sex-oozing self right into my space and demands that I see HIM. Making me want what I know I can't have.

So I did the only thing I know how to do.
I run.
But he just won't let me go.

The second I see her, I know she will be mine. I see past the gorgeous smiles and heart-stopping laughter. I see HER. She doesn't want me to know her secrets or the past that haunts her, but I make it my mission to find out.

To make her mine.

She can run all she wants, but it will never be far enough to stop me from coming after her.
She's it for me and she knows it.
She's just too scared to admit it.

Really loved Beck. The way he stood by Dee thru all her emotional ups and downs was heartwarming. Can't wait to read Ash and Chelsea.

I knew she had a past and I knew that he followed her around but then getting into the thick of things it was a lot. Very emotional and really traumatizing. I didn't see the twist coming and it ripped me apart. This book is heavy but their love out shines the bad.

Dee has been hiding behind masks for as long as she could remember. Hiding to survive living with her parents, hiding to keep everyone happy even though she was breaking herself. Until one man came into her man who could see through every single mask she owned. Beck can see through to the real Dee and he likes what he sees. She can run all she likes, push him away as much as she wants, but he will always come back to her and push just as hard until she breaks. Again Harper Sloan has broken my heart and put it back together again. Dee's story brings me to tears and just more tears...some of sorrow, and some of joy. Dee has been through so much in her lifetime from the moment she was born. Her family life was not one of fairy tales but one of hardships and having to play the perfect little daughter. Beck comes into her life trying to be there for her whenever she needed him. She tries everything in her power to push him away but he keeps coming back. Harper Sloan knows how to write a powerful sexy story. When Beck and Dee get together holy crap! Things get scorching hot and intense. I love Harper Sloan's Corps Security guys and want more.

Oh Harper Sloan I have so fallen in love with this band of Brothers in your Corps Security. Beck and Dee's story is so wonderful. Beck's love and support of Dee is amazing, but the story lines for the other brothers take your breath away. On to UnCaged. Thanks Harper Sloan & Good Writing

This is the third installment in the Corps Security series. This is Dee and Beck's story. This story gutted me. Between Dee , Beck, Izzy, Greg and Cooper……. Beck can see the sadness and depression that Dee hides between her smiles. Even her two best friends can’t see the horrors she is dealing with. Dee is trying to deal with all the horrors she is living with but really she is just barely surviving. When her friends find out just how bad it is they both wonder how they were able to miss it. With all her friends trying to help her out will it pull her out of her dark and angry place? Or will an attack throw away all the progress she has made to overcome her problems? This book if packed full of twist and turns that you will never see coming and at the end when your heart is breaking you will just want to know why this had to happen. I just have no words for the final twist that you will never see coming……… Well I have one WHY?? Side characters help make the story even better – Cohen, Izzy, Axel, Dee, Beck, Cooper, Locke, and Sway.

This is my favorite book out of the series so far. I loved Dees character and Beck has been awesome from the first book. Although for being "best friends"I felt as though Greg and Izzy just didnt care all that much about what she went through. She was an after thought to them.

I want to start out and be upfront by stating that you should definitely read this book- AFTER you read the first two. I fell in love with Axel, then Greg, and of course, now Beck, but OH. MY. WORD. Talk about a game changer for the entire rest of the series! I CRIED through the last 25% of the book. Broke my heart. I can't even....I was just...and then... heartbreaking. I'm really not sure I can read the next book right now. I think I'll have to wait a while. Do I recommend this book? Yes. Was it well written and have a good story line? I think Beck deserved a Medal for his patience and sainthood, but yes it was. Did I enjoy the storyline? I did until about 75% through it. I read books to get out of reality. If I want to focus on reality I just have to look at my everyday life. Books are an escape, so when the storyline gets away from my HEA (which Beck and Dee do get) I no longer consider it worth my money. The emotional side of me wants to give this book two stars, but it was well written and you can’t help but fall in love with Beck, so I’m giving it 5 stars. The tragedy that occurs doesn’t directly affect Beck and/or Dee…. but to anyone who has ever been through that situation…. they know that, yeah, it kinda does. .

Words can't describe how much I loved this book.  I'm so glad I started the series. I loved the writing style and the characters. I can't wait to read the next new thing from Harper.  This book was eye opening on Dee's life! It is really unexpected but I really enjoyed the whole thing. I love Beck's devotion. Each book gets better and better.

Book 3 in the series and surprisingly darker than the first 2 books.  This series sucks you in with gripping plots, hot alpha males and a wonderful cast of loners that have somehow become a family.

“When you love someone, you fight. You fight for them, and you fight with them. She needed me to fight for her then, and I’ll continue to do that until she can fight for herself again.”  I love me some Sloan Harper, but this was not my favorite in the series. Still, a not great in this series is better than most!  I found the first half to be a bit slow. Don’t get me wrong, I love this group of friends so reading any book in this series is like visiting old friends, but I still read this series for the action and badassery. I had to wait a while for the badassery. I wasn’t feeling patient. Maybe it was just me.  “Just because you let someone in doesn’t mean you have to stop protecting yourself. It just means you have someone to share the job with.”  It was a well written book. Everything was right, but it was just lacking the fun and excitement that Axel and Cage had. There some sweet moments and I smiled a lot. These books always make me laugh. And i do love how their family is growing and we get to witness that in each book. I love the community building in each story. But I was just not as invested in Beck's story as I was the others.  I will continue to read the rest of the series. I love these guys and I love Harper Sloan’s writing style. I am really looking forward to reading about the rest of the guys. These books always have great humor and wittiness. I think my favorite thing about this series is the camaraderie between the men. They are truly brothers and it is a fun twist to have that in the series rather than always reading about a pack of girls holding the guys together.  “The day your drunk ass went on and on about how chocolate is better than sex, you had me hooked. ”  3 Stars for Beck and pair it with an ice cold draft.
