Overview

The new preacher in a small, East Texas town stops by the Cooper's house for a visit and finds no one home but nine-year-old Becky Sue. She sits him down on the front porch with a glass of lemonade to wait for Mama and Daddy, and entertains him with her photo album. It just so happens the photos are of her fellow parishioners, and the preacher learns more about them from Becky Sue than he wants to know.

Brimming with hope and laughter, and spiced with a pinch of sin, Becky Sue Cooper's Photo Album takes us back to 1964. Sit back and enjoy the ride.

A decent book, but the writer has a stilted style that's a little difficult to follow. Definitely not a seasoned writer - but plenty of potential! Also, this book is very short, a twenty minute read.

As I read this book, I could imagine the girl talking to the minister and telling him all she had observed and overheard. Well written.

Brings back many memories about the people and funny situations of having a church family.

Haha....This is a good example of a southern church! You learn a lot about everybody. Very cute book. If i had to give one negative comment about the writing, it would be that there was not a lot of dialouge between the characters. Overall, wonderfull.
