A book that makes you look at how we live. How we look at other people and don't really see them. It is a book that makes you think of other lives rather than your own. Read it and discover something more human than what you are now

I've known Mike for the last few years. I really enjoyed reading about his former adventures as a marine and a police officer. The time he spent with his ailing brother during his illness and last days and along with stories of others he has met here in Mitchell,SD, show he is a very caring person. I look forward to reading his next book.

John Randall captures a special in depth view of the Human experience. Although I am an avid believer in passing on used books this book will continue to stay in my home within easy reach.

When I think of philosophers, I think of professors in Ivy League schools. How amazing and wonderful to find a philosopher in Mitchell, South Dakota! Randall has deep insight into the human mind and spirit. I'll take a fresh look at the people and events around me.
