About the Author

Mills & Boon novels were Julia James’ first “grown up” books she read as a teenager, and she's been reading them ever since. She adores the Mediterranean and the English countryside in all its seasons, and is fascinated by all things historical, from castles to cottages. In between writing she enjoys walking, gardening, needlework and baking “extremely gooey chocolate cakes” and trying to stay fit! Julia lives in England with her family.

The book started off good... sadly that's all that can be said. The middle of the book took a nose dive and so did the end. The heroine didn't have a back bone or a will of her own. She was supposed to be the ice queen, but she just let him push her around. The hero was amusing in the beginning, but seemed to lose that along with any human descentsey. He, quite literally, used her as his whore. He seemed to like her in the begining, which only makes it more confusing, because he barley speaks to her out side the bedroom. I was really disappointed in this book, Julia James is a really good writer... Just don't know what happened here.
