The memoirs of how one orphan boy called a Beerinsky (the bedwetters) survived in the cruel child abuser orphanage run by overworked, sometimes sadistic disciplinary nuns. He survived without love, compassion, encouragement or individual attention. This was the practice during the world-wide TB/Flu epidemic. Other than shelter, food and clothing, the aim of the nuns was extreme discipline, thus effectively destroying all self esteem of the 200 boys in the institution.
