Beginner's Guide To Magic Tricks

As you know if you read the Forward, ever since I was four years old, there was only thing that I ever wanted to be. A magician. No, let me say that properly: The Greatest Magician Ever!

Circumstances and life however, eventually prevented me from attaining this particular goal, but before they intervened I spent most of my time learning, practicing and performing new magic tricks whenever, and whenever I could, on whomever I could.

Needless to say I had a great many friends when I was growing up and was always the sideshow of any party! And this I believe, was just the thing which made me such a good magician.

To keep up with the necessity of wanting to be popular with everyone, I practiced very hard indeed at my magic. Whenever I wasn't reluctantly studying for an exam, or playing the great magician for my friends, I was practicing my magic tricks.

My name might not be up there in lights along with other greats of our times such as David Copperfield, Penn and Teller, or famous street magician, David Blaine.

And I definitely can't come anywhere near Houdini's magical genius, but after all these years I am glad to say that I can still perform with the best of them.

That said, it should be noted that becoming a credited and creditable magician in this day an age is no easy matter. Where earlier, magic and illusions could be performed to the wonderment of an eager audience, these days real magicians have a harder time of convincing their audiences that a "trick" is real
