BEGINNINGS AND ENDS: Annotated reissue originally e-published in June 2012
A Troubleshooters short story
Jules and Robin find that endings can be the start of something new...

After years of playing a tormented actor named Joe Laughlin on the hit television show Shadowland, Hollywood star Robin Chadwick Cassidy is ready for a change. Joe's character embodies the real demons of Robin's past--his struggle with his sexuality, his battle with alcoholism--and portraying the part has taken a heavy toll on his personal life. Robin's husband, FBI agent Jules Cassidy, has noticed the strain and will do whatever he can to make Robin happy. And what Robin has in mind will forever transform his career, his marriage, and his family. (Around 12K words or 60 pages)

Also available in a low priced 3-in-1 collection, in both ebook and print, with When Tony Met Adam and Murphy's Law.

I love Robin and Jules. I loved reading this story and hearing about the end of Joe Laughlin and the decisions that Robin and Jules made about their future. I loved the short, it was a great quick diversion. And bonus: it featured two of my favorite characters.

If you are a Troubleshooter fan, this is a must. She fills in what's going on and sets up the next novels. MORE!

Jules, is my favorite character in the "Troubleshooters" series. Enjoyed the brief look into Jules and Robin's life. Hope there is more about their family.

Perfect length. Perfect visit with favorite characters. Perfectly named short story. I adored this short story, BEGINNINGS AND ENDS, by Suzanne Brockmann. It was JUST RIGHT in so many ways. Yes, it was 'just' a short story...but this was perfect...it was meant to be another visit with favorite characters Robin Chadwick-Cassidy and Jules Cassidy...and it was just that. An update on their lives, their romance, their happiness together. I found this one-sitting read to be a welcome tide-me-over until Suzanne's next full-length book came out. The romance between Jules and Robin (M/M for those who are unaware) is just that...a precious romance emphasizing that love comes in all different packages. The deep and abiding love between Robin and Jules is a phenomenal illustration of what love should be like; unconditional, supportive, communicative. It's no surprise that Jules is such a popular character that fans of Suzanne Brockmann are delighted to see recur in her ongoing Troubleshooters and just-released first book in Reluctant Heroes series. Fans of Brockmann will enjoy this short story. Savor every word. It's worth it! ~kristin

absolutely love Jules & Robin and I loved this story.  I loved the ending and hope to see how things end up for Jules and Robin. Please do no end the end the Troubleshooters series until you can let everyone know how the future ends for all members of the troubleshooters series.  I fell in love with them all and hope to see how everyone ended up

I love Jules and Robin, but so much of this story is about Robin's television character that it really takes away from the real relationship and story.

I always enjoy an author that feels the need to finish what they start with a character. While I am sure Suz is far from finished with Jules and Robin....this is a wonderful "what are they up to now" read

First let me say that while this story is good, I wouldn't bother with it unless you've read the series and know the characters. Brockmann doesn't really introduce Jules and Robin in this story, it's meant to be a continuation of her previous work (which it totally worth reading if you haven't yet!). That being said my review is this: LOVED IT!

If you are reading the series you need to read this book so that you know what has been going on with Robin and Jules. Would have like a longer story but guess that will be the next book. A little short 48 pages.

Love this author and these characters, but one paragraph could have told this story. Would prefer to wait twice as long to get the next chapter in their lives.
