Love the sense of adventure in these books, the personalities developed for all the characters and the banter between them all. I don't know what is going on with the e-books, but that issue needs resolved. I bought the first 3 in e-book. It took forever for 4 & 5 to come out in e-book and by the tiime I noticed they were no longer available. Amazon shows all 5 e-books as made, but that copyright is not available for them to be for sale in this country. I contacted the publisher about this and they gave me the run around. I don't know who has the authority to re-release these in e-books, but they need to do so. I don't see what the problem is - don't they want our money?

I picked this book up, hopeing to be mildly entertained. Low and behold,I stayed up the entire night reading, much to the parents anger. This is a gripping read with deep plots and believable characters you can't help but love!

Being in the Northeast with all this horrid snow, I recently had the opportunity to curl up on the couch with a good book and a warm blanket for an extended period of time. The Belgariad was a series of books I'd read in High School and when I saw it collected in this format, I grabbed both volumes with a feeling of nostalgia. It was great to read this story again! The storyline is familiar (Good vs Evil) but the participants in this familiar struggle are so well designed, you enjoy the ride.
