About the Author
French-Canadian Denis Blais and Anglo-Belgian André Plisnier met in 1984 while setting up the Dôme on Kings Road and together launched London's first tapas bar, Bar Escoba, in 1986. They opened the DNA Lounge in 1989, followed by Belgo Noord in 1992 and Belgo Centraal in 1995. There are currently eight Belgo locations around the world, with more to come.
