About the Author

Annette Record grew up in the suburbs just outside Chicago, Illinois. She currently resides in Long Beach, Mississippi with her loving husband Louie and their little fur-baby, their lovable dog Sophie. Annette is the mother of three wonderful sons, a daughter in heaven, grandma to one awesome grandson and three beautiful step-granddaughters.

Annette is a first time published book author, but does have a couple published recipes. One she is most proud of is her “Buffalo Chicken Salad Tacos Recipe” featured in the Pillsbury 43rd Bake-Off, 100 Award-Winning Recipes book. She “lost” the million dollar grand prize to a Peanut Butter Cookie! She decided baking was her forte rather than cooking after that.

When Annette isn’t in her kitchen creating recipes, or baking something yummy like her homemade Biscotti for which she hopes to write a cookbook, you may find her crafting, walking on the beach, browsing thrift stores, watching the birds from her patio, spending time with family and friends or her favorite thing: basking in and sharing the truth of how much God loves us! For Annette, knowing God as her Father, and experiencing His love for herself, how He delights in being with us wherever we are; how He never leaves us and discovering that it’s not what we do for God, but rather all about what He has done for us through Jesus has changed her life forever!
