About the Author

Steffen Baldwin is an Army Veteran and the owner of Save Them Dog Training, which focuses on rehabilitating dogs with fear-based reactivity and shelter/rescue dogs utilizing force-free techniques. I.E., the Hot Dog Man. A former shelter director and animal cruelty investigator in rural Ohio, Steffen has also blogged extensively about animal welfare related topics in an attempt to create a more humane world through education, via the Huffington Post, Pup Journal, and Bark Box. A proud father, Steffen and his son live in rural Ohio on a farm with approximately 20-25 dogs at any time.
