I was shopping for books about losing weight around one's stomach when I came across this book's catchy cover depicting two people with well-formed abs. The title 'Belly Buster' with a subtitle of 'Lose inches from your waist - without going to the gym!' sounded like a book full of suggestions on how to lose one's gut. The first few chapters however talked about statistics of being overweight. But the more I went on, I realized the entire book is nothing but a collection of statistics about the impact of being overweight. The book contents have less or little to do with good suggestions other than just obvious things. Near the end of the book there were some useful tips about 'getting up to get your own cup of coffee instead of having your secretary do it', and that would equal 4/5th of a mile in steps in a year. But I think it was a bit of a stretch to put that picture, title and subtitle on the book. The book should have been more aptly titled 'Disadvantages of being overweight: a collection of studies done over the ages'.
