This was a little different approach. It took real life pictures of a boy playing with his toys. He lost his toy, and due to a little ingenuity, he got his toy back after it fell down a deep mysterious hole. It really teaches the basics of critical thinking in my opinion. Great functional book to have around.

This book has real photographs that illustrate the story of a young boy who loses his favorite toy down a hole and because his parents aren't available for immediate help, he uses his own problem-solving skills to figure out how to get his toy back. I thought this book was rather boring and the kids didn't seem to be that interested in it either.
