A playful and informative children's book about the places that Ben, a working therapy dog, visits and the friends he makes. The book describes how Ben helps children build self-esteem by improving reading skills and fluency in a fun, confidence-building, and non-judgmental atmosphere at schools and libraries; plus the comfort, interaction, and health benefits he brings to the elderly in nursing homes.

Really well-written, beautifully illustrated, I highly recommend this for all ages. Tells the story from the point of view of the doggie, who is adorable and smart. Loved this book particularly because service dogs are not often covered in children's books, but they're such a vital part of so many folks' lives. It's something kids will find interesting (my daughter, age 3 did, anyways) and the pictures are lovely enough to capture the attention of even the fidgitiest child. Loved this book!!!
