About the Author

Sue graduated from St. Catherine University in 1993 with a BA in occupational therapy. She was working for General Mills and attending school at Augsburg College working toward a business administration degree when the death of her mother-in-law caused her to reevaluate her life choices for her career.
She has worked in a number of settings with the goal to always focus on the patient, quality of care, and making a difference for each one of her patients. She has a passion for providing wellness talks to senior communities on healthy aging, brain health, and stress management.
She returned to her home state of Minnesota back in 2008 with her husband and two daughters.
This book was many years in the making, and Sue made the decision that she could no longer be silent about everything she had experienced in healthcare.
She lives in Minneapolis and escapes to her cabin in Northern Minnesota on weekends to renew her spirit and surround herself with what is good in life.
Her oldest daughter lives in Seattle, and her youngest daughter lives in Minneapolis. Sue and her husband have been married thirty-five years and look to have a quiet retirement, but for now, she continues to work in the area of healthcare she loves most—home health.
