I don't know, I'm just not feeling this series. I made the first book a comparison to Sam Crescent's previous MC books because they had many similarities and at the time I hadn't read any of Jenika Snow's books. Since then I've read a few of JS books and I have to compare this second book to her writing style and plot lines, in the sense that either nothing happens, extremely little happens and the main focus is the budding relationship between Joker and Amy. In essence the book was boring as hell. The most exciting thing was the interaction between Zeke and his daughter, Daniella and Shakes obvious desire for her. I was also looking forward to reading more on Steele and Eloise, their relationship looks like it's going to be interesting as well. Don't get me wrong, I liked Amy. I felt for her and was glad that her father paid for hurting her, no child should have to grow up fearing the one person they are supposed to trust unconditionally, a parent. Her self hate and disgust was sad and she was lucky to have Joker there for her, but quite frankly I got tired of hearing them profess their love for one another on every other page...I get you're in love...move on. Obviously she wasn't that traumatized by that point because she had ZERO problems falling into bed with Joker, she did so happily and fearlessly...so there should have been more action going on but we get nothing. I'm a huge SC fan, not so much of JS but she's growing on me, so I don't want to give up on this series but they need to amp up the action in the books that follow, the sex is great and all but pair that with some adrenaline inducing action and these books will be golden! One this is only about 110 pages so it should be called a short story not a book, second the story could have been better and steamier but a lot of stuff put you off track and was not needed in this story, this is the 2nd one of the series that I am disappointed in I won't waste money on a third book.

This was a great book. Joker loved Amy forever and he was tired of waiting for her to be his woman. These MC club men are hot and bossy with their women. The guys don't cheat and are very protected to their loved ones . Love the series so far can't wait to read more about the club members.

I guess when an author finds a story formula they repeat it , but how many times??? These books are all the same plot, just change the names. What a waste of money!

Overall Rating:  4 Rockin Stars Bent, Not Broken is the second book in the Soldiers of Wrath MC series by Jenika Snow and Sam Crescent, we learn more about Joker and Amy and what makes them tick as a couple.  We were introduced to them in the first book when Amy's mother was in a car accident.  Even though the other brothers are mentioned and present the main focus is on Joker's revenge and Amy's release of her fear. Joker formerly known as Reese has always been in love with his step-sister Amy.  He is the Vice President of his Club and Demon the prez’s right hand man.  He longs to claim Amy as his woman and keep her where she belongs...at his side, but until her past is confronted and the nightmares leave, he watches her from a distance.  Amy knows the horrors of the world...she lived through it as a child.  Her mother, Brenda was her lifeline and was killed in a car accident.  She had tried to protect Amy even after she left her father.  After the accident her world begins to shift and the nightmares return. Joker and Amy are the most unlikely pair ever!  He is a big, strong, dominant male and she is a petite, innocent, young woman. Joker is determined to claim her and Amy is finally ready to live her life again.  This story moves at a steady pace and won't leaving you hanging.  New storylines are introduced and if you are like me - you will want the next book in the series ASAP! Hero: Reese “Joker” Whitman 4 stars Heroine: Amy Holland 4 stars Steam: 4 stars  Plot: 4 stars  Cliffhanger: No
