Overview

HE WANTED A STORY.
HE GOT THE BIGGEST ONE OF HIS CAREER.
HE JUST HAS TO STAY ALIVE LONG ENOUGH TO TELL IT.

The first entry in the Herman Ingram suspense thriller series.

Herman Ingram is at a crossroads. Once a star reporter, he's now a cynic and an alcoholic. While running his own news site keeps him occupied, there's something missing: purpose.

That changes when a mysterious package arrives on his doorstep, identified only by the name of its origin:

Bermuda

Inside the parcel are classified documents that outline a conspiracy that involves a revolutionary water treatment procedure along with samples of a strange metallic substance. As a result, Herman begins investigating.

George Wilman, the man who sent the package, is a scientist who became an unwitting participant in this controversial scheme. His life is on the line. His employers—desperate to keep their secrets hidden—are hunting him. Consequently, George is willing to do whatever it takes to expose them.

As people involved in the investigation start dying, Herman must decide how far he's willing to go to expose the truth.

Will he become a hero or a statistic?

Bermuda has action, suspense, and sharp dialogue and it's all wrapped up with a dark and smart sense of humor.

If you're a fan of James Patterson, Karin Slaughter, C.J. Box, Mary Burton, and Willow Rose, be sure to check out this thrill ride that will keep you turning pages well past your bedtime.

About the Author

Born and raised in Eastern North Carolina, Jeb began writing and illustrating short stories as a child. As he entered his teenage years, Jeb's focus shifted to music, a passion that continues to this day. After spending 15 years drumming in a variety of bands, his creative output moved back to writing when he published a trio of short stories in 2014 that laid the groundwork for his career in writing.

After the novel's August 2018 release, he began work on the first in a series of horror-inspired novellas before focusing on his second full-length release. The Hangman's Soliloquy, a direct sequel to Bermuda and the second book in the Herman Ingram series, was released on April 10, 2020.

When he's not writing, Jeb enjoys spending time with his family, aimless drives, and music. An avid hockey fan, Jeb also loves watching the Carolina Hurricanes, though he has been unable to convert his son...yet.
