Editorial Reviews

Library Journal - Library Journal
In this latest title in the "Seascape" series, Bryce Richards arrives at the Seascape Inn with his three young children, one of whom suffers terrible nightmares, to recover from the death of his wife. Caline ("Cally") finds herself at the inn because she needs a place to get away and time to recover from divorcing a man whose emotional abuse has left her with no self-esteem. Can innkeeper Hattie Stillman and her ghostly helper bring together Bryce and Cally and help them heal? Barrett (Maybe This Time, Pinnacle, 1996) packs a lot into her plot but does a good job of developing characters to whom the reader can relate. For readers who like their romances family-centered with lots of secondary characters. Barrett lives in Niceville, Florida. (JC)
