Faking it never felt so good.

Wedding photographer and romance lover Izzy Latham dreams of finding her own happily-ever-after. When her former teenage crush arrives at her doorstep, looking sexier than ever, and asks to marry her, it should be her dream come true, right? Wrong. It turns out he doesn't want to actually marry her--he only wants to pretend to marry her.

Marriage hater Jack Carter will do anything to close his latest business deal, including finding a wife. The only person who can help him is his childhood friend, Izzy. Except Izzy isn't a little girl anymore. She's definitely all woman, and there's an attraction between them that's hard to ignore.

Jack has to convince Izzy to fake it, but the problem is that she hates to lie. However, she can't deny her feelings for him either. So when Jack makes her an offer she can't refuse, she reluctantly agrees to help him out.

Fun Contemporary Romance I received a complimentary copy of this book as a part of a book tour in exchange for a fair and honest review. A light hearted romance based on a “fake” wedding between two adults who were childhood friends, Best Fake Day by Tracey Rogers is sure to please many readers. While it took a while for me to warm up to both main characters, Izzy and Jack, Ms. Rogers writing style is easy to follow, full of promise and enjoyable. If you love watching movies with the wedding as a theme, then you’ll love this book. A successful wedding photographer, Izzy Latham has moved home to help her father recover from a stroke and rebuild her family’s home. Though home repair isn’t one of her talents, Izzy’s always been the one who keeps the family together after her mother’s death. Only now her older sister Ellie’s agreed to marry Jack Carter, Izzy’s teenage crush and childhood friend, and left Izzy behind to clean up her mess. Used to picking up the pieces Izzy’s not surprised to find out that Ellie bolted, she just never planned on Jack insisting she take her sister’s place or on having to take part in a “fake” wedding. Determined to purchase a piece of property from an old fashioned couple, former bad boy model Jack Carter has to clean up his act. When the paparazzi snap a picture of him and Ellie Latham, a childhood friend, in a compromising position and it puts the purchase of the property in jeopardy, Jack tells the seller the woman in the picture is his future bride. Getting Ellie to agree to marry him temporarily is not a problem, asking Izzy to take her place and pretend to marry him is something else. The scenes between Jack and Izzy are light hearted, full of zippy dialogue and lots of smoldering chemistry. While it took me a while to really connect with the characters, they are well developed and Ms. Rogers does a good job developing their romance. While Jack is distant, cold and usually very controlled, Izzy is emotional, caring and definitely fits the “girl next door” mold. As they spend time together, and the reader gets to know the people they really are, it’s easy to see that they are meant for each other. Will Jack convince Izzy to go through with his crazy “fake” wedding plan? Will Izzy be able to get through to Jack’s heart and make him hers? You’ll have to read Best Fake Day to find out. I enjoyed it and look forward to reading more of Ms. Rogers’ work.

Lovely story friendship, dreams, family and a little inspirational dreams Izzy has loved Jack since she was a child and but she always has thought he was hot for her older sister.  Years later Jack is a famous model and Izzy is back in home taking care of her dad and restoring their home.  When she sees Jack again she can’t imagine what he’s planning, a wedding with her sister… or with her.  When I read the blurb of this book I can’t avoid think in A Negotiated Marriage by Noelle Adams and I love that kind of stories.  Best Fake Day is the story about a fake wedding between two former friends, also is a tale about friendship, dreams, family and a little inspirational dreams.  Izzy always has been jealous about her sister’s relationship with Jack (a former family friend), they grown up together but he never paid attention of her, at least that’s she always thought.  Years later, they faked a wedding for Jack’s benefits and this will be the lovely start of their relationship.  I really enjoyed this book but I have not fallen in love like I expected it, I’d prefer to read more sexy scenes c’mon he’s a sexy model and they’ve a wedding in Italy…what is sexier than that?

Izzy dreams of a perfect marriage. She believes that a marriage is everyone's happily ever after. When she opens the door to find her old crush she is surprised and not to happy to find he wants her to have a fake marriage with him. Jack hates marriage but needs Izzy's help to seal the deal on a business deal. As they work together to set up a fake wedding they grow closer and find their feelings aren't to fake. This is a very enjoyable story as you get the background on these two read. Izzy has always been crazy for Jack but knows he never felt that way about her. He was more into her sister. She wants the thing her parents had, a wonderful marriage. Jack hates marriage and doesn't want any part of it. He has plans in mind and he tries his best to stay distant from Izzy. Izzy fights him every inch of the way to get what she wants Jack. They both have some secrets they have to share and I was surprised by a few. I liked seeing them let their guards down and find each other. They balance each other nicely. I love the ending and how Izzy changes her mind.

The read was fast, and the story was engaging. I liked the chemistry between Jack and Izzy. Jack has some baggage that adds to the story. I was confused in the beginning as to what Jack's relationship to Izzy's sister really was. The settings within the story set the mood perfectly, especially their time in Italy. The romance was steamy, but didn't take it too far. This was enjoyable from start to finish! Best Fake Day by Tracey Rogers was provided to me by the Tasty Book Tours for review. The opinions are my own.

My Review: 4.7 Star Review - Best Fake Day I recommend this book. This book includes drama, passion, heartache, and romance throughout the entire story. Jack Carter shows up at Izzy's door and announces she will need to fake marry him as her sister said she would do it and ran off. Since Jack needs a wife for a business deal he needs Izzy to step up and take her sister's place. Izzy is determined not to go through with it. She belives that Jack and her sister were involved before. What will Jack need to do to wear her down? Can two people who already have feelings for each other (but don't want to admit it) really fake a wedding and then go back to there own lives? Enjoyed the push and pull between theses two characters.
