About the Author

N.R. Walker is an Australian author, who loves her genre of gay romance.
She loves writing and spends far too much time doing it, but wouldn't have it any other way.

She is many things: a mother, a wife, a sister, a writer. She has pretty, pretty boys who live in her head, who don't let her sleep at night unless she gives them life with words. She likes it when they do dirty, dirty things... but likes it even more when they fall in love.

She used to think having people in her head talking to her was weird, until one day she happened across other writers who told her it was normal.

She's been writing ever since...

Ryland has been broken- figuratively and literally- and is afraid to show the world who he is until he meets Sebastian, who is out and proud everywhere but at work. Once Ryland reveals his past, Sebastian shows him how he can have the best of both worlds. A plea for forgiveness, a family tragedy, a life-altering accident and a long recovery tests their resolve to stay together and have the best of both worlds.

I like the short paragraphs, makes for a quick read. I cant imagine the cruelty gay people have to live through, especially in Texas. Love is love no matter who it is with. I appreciate the HEA for Ry, it was a struggle to get there.

Every single time I pick up an N.R. Walker book I'm thrilled. The style she wrote this one in is a bit different but no less perfect. I loved Ryland and Sebastian together. These two are just meant to be from first glance to their happily ever after. Sebastian fights for Ryland when he tries to pull away. He tells Ryland that he's worth fighting for and he refuses to go anywhere without him. Ryland is wounded and scared of opening himself to the family that rejected him so completely. It impressed me that he was willing to give his brother and ultimately his mother a chance to be part of their lives. Sebastian's family makes me cheer; what wonderful people. Adult read
