Do not buy this collection. It is nothing but remakes of classic country songs by singers who did not make the song famous. For example, Roy Drusky doesn't have the voice to sing "It Was Almost Like a Song." Avoid, avoid, avoid!

What we have here are remakes of classic country standards by other artists rather than the original superstars who recorded the songs. For example, the voice of Conway Twitty is NOT heard on "Hello Darlin,'" but that of Stu Phillips, a man who sounds like Jim Reeves. There are only three songs featuring the original artists, "Rose Garden" by Lynn Anderson, "Six Days on the Road" by Dave Dudley and "The End of the World" by Skeeter Davis. Avoid this cheap collection and get the originals!
