Diamond Head has a large amount of compilations dedicated to their work, and this is very similar to most of them. It features the two requisite tracks, "Am I Evil" and "Helpless," which would both be covered by Metallica in later years. And like most of the other compilations dedicated to them, it pretty much picks and chooses the rest of the songs from any point in their career and plugs them in. To the compilation's credit, they try and leave off some of the cheesy hard rock they made after their initial splash. Tracks like "In the Heat of the Night" aren't that bad, and show that they didn't completely lose the way before their first hiatus. And a few tracks are actually less impressive when viewed in this context, especially the dated sleaze rock of "Sucking My Love" and the dull pop of "Out of Phase." But this is still a good compilation that makes for a fairly complete overview of the first part of their career.
