Best Women's Erotica of the Year, Volume 3 delivers the kind of sexy stories you want most: daring, bold, and surprising tales of women who pursue their boundless passions anywhere and everywhere. Edited by Rachel Kramer Bussel, winner of multiple Independent Publishing Book Awards, these scintillating scenarios turn the tables on how women are "supposed" to behave. Instead, these uninhibited vixens indulge in their favorite fetishes, do deliciously intimate "Body Shots," and get tied up with "Red Satin Ribbons." They pose nude, dress up, and roleplay, always obeying their most exhilarating impulses. These lusty ladies take your most cherished, private fantasies--from making a sex tape, to taking part in a thrilling threesome, to having a stud delivered to your door hot and ready--and make them come alive. Written by beloved authors Abigail Barnette, Annabel Joseph, and Charlotte Stein along with several genre newcomers, these are erotic encounters you'll want to savor again and again and again...

Even hotter than the other books in this series I've read. Started off with a story by one of my favorite writers, Abigail Barnette, about Sophie and Neil...and Sophie giving him the sexiest birthday gift ever by having him watch a video of her getting intimately painted by Gena. Some of my other favorites were A Love Affair All My Own, about a lesbian ballerina coming into her own passion and identity, Bibliophile, where two strangers discover how much books turn them on, The Skin of Someone Else because nobody writes like Charlotte Stein, and Red Satin Ribbons, another birthday story involving a bondage surprise. Some were tender and passionate and some were more down and dirty.
I feel like we get more in this collection. The women are bolder, more fearless in what they want. Gone are the days of the "timid damsel!" Well, no not really; they're still out there just, thankfully, not in this book. And they're really annoying; stop being so afraid and take what you want. There's no holding back in this collection and that 's exactly what made it so great because there's so much more to what can come of it and the options are limitless. This book has left me with just an overall acceptance of go for it. Whatever it might be. Though of course at the end of the day I will still be living vicariously through these characters.
Lot's of short, steamy stories. Quick reads when you've only got a little bit of time.
