The title of this book was accurate beyond words. There was a list of betrayal from the first chapter till almost the end. Everyone having a hand in some sort of betrayal. A roller-coaster of love, hate, betrayal and murder all wrapped up in one book. I liked the story a great deal, I really enjoyed watching young Jordan and Darcy get acquainted. As the story progressed, you could almost feel the rage from the characters jumping off the page. I loved how Darcy's art portrayed her mood and how her and Jordan could work together in their own versions of a trance. I was pretty sure I knew who the ultimate betrayer was pretty early on, and I was right and disgusted by the finality of their "love". While I really did love the story with the main characters, I was put off by a ton of typos. It got to be really bad after a while. I also thought some of the story seemed a bit...choppy and didn't flow. There were some things left unanswered at the end of the book which also made the book lacking for me. All in all a good story, but not one of my favorites.

Good story, suspenseful - not an easy one to solve. Characters are well developed and endearing.

Story of young love and loss, adult betrayal, rekindled love. Mystery and suspense liven the story. Characters well developed, both the main and the lesser characters. A very enjoyable read. Could have benefited from better proofreading.

Great book. Some predictability, but enough twists and mini-plots to keep you guessing.

Can't believe all the good reviews! Found it slow, writing poor, not like Shay's other books.

GJRA. I could not put this book down, read all 248 pages in less than a day. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of the abrupt ending, needed an epilogue. I did figure out the killer but it does keep you interested til the end. GJRA

I have no idea why this book received so many good reviews, it was awful. It was too slow and boring. The writing was terrible. The plot boring and predictible. Overall, there was nothing good about it. I struggled to finish it. I do not recommend it at all. Stay away. Do not read. Gtx

Talk about obsessed people. While it was cute that Jordan fell for Darcy early in the book, it became weird when they were older. Personalities were so polarized. People either obsessed over each other, loved eac other excessively, or hated one another. I wanted to tell the characters to chill out!

Lots of interesting twists once they were adults. Enjoyed the early part when they were kids.

This is a great book! Twists and turns galore. I love how straight forward Shay's writing is. The books are gritty and more true to life. Keep them coming. Ky41

This book was awesome. With all the detail, I was able to follow it as if it were a TV mini-series playing out in my head. It hit on all the emotions. It is a dramatic love story with a few twists, suspense, revenge, and even attempted murder. An overall great book that I believe should be a TV Mini-series. The book is a little longer than most, but it is like you are getting more than one book in one. You will love this book.
