I tell you Mary is a much better woman than I am because if I wait years to give my cherry to man, only to have him treat me like dog s*it seconds after him popping that precious thing, no amount of groveling will ever get me to forgive him, let alone have sex with him again. Then again I have more self respect for myself than Mary does, so maybe that's why I would have just kept it moving. Must be something about bikers or it could be that these girls are just to damn young to just know any better, hell I don't know. What I do know is that there is no way in fu*king hell I would go back to a man who would verbally put me down the way Pike did to Mary. I'm chalking it up to her upbringing and the fact that she was used to being talked down to by her parents which is why, though she tried to fake the funk and pretend that she was pissed and hurt, she did everything Pike told her to do, stupid as it may look to me, for some fu*ked up reason it made sense to her...
I guessed he redeemed himself in her eyes and I do give him points for remaining faithful to her as in my book that means a whole hell of a lot, so he wasn't a total as*hat, still I wouldn't have gone back to him.
Overall this went pretty much the same way as the first book except without all the action, nothing really happened in this book except the crazy budding relationship between Pike and Mary, so while the sex was it's usual Sam Crescent hotness, everything else was a tad bit boring in comparison to her other books. I'm hoping the setup between Raoul and Zoe is leading us into more adventurous territories!

It has been wonderful to continue to learn and enjoy the Trogans MC adventures and the interplay with the riders and thier ladies.
